Dan Bark has had extensive success with bridging gaps in labor management to facilitate growth and enhance success.  His 32 years of unique labor management expertise and connections with the national union construction industry will provide guidance and/or interventions in four key areas.

Navigation.

  • Utilize labor management expertise to pave the way for projects via proactive interventions and navigation of the national labor market.

  • Provide labor management interventions to streamline project acquisition and or preparation for:

    • Determine optimal manpower resources (such as availability of target funds, pre-apprentices). Interface with local unions where projects may be bid.

    • Interface with unions during project bidding and planning.

    • Advise and assist with pre-job meetings.

    • Procure current union agreements available for project planning.

    • Interface with trust funds.


Manpower.

  • Labor analysis in potential bid areas.

  • Identify and/or procure promising field leadership.

  • Obtain and maintain information regarding labor agreements in all trades.

  • Obtain and maintain information on all Local Union wage and fringe packages.

  • Obtain and maintain information regarding current labor union contracts.

  • Obtain and maintain Health and Welfare/Pension funds and assist with benefit issues.

  • Interface with all labor organizations for project planning.

  • Assist to obtain assemblers for light conveyor projects.

  • Advise and assist to maximize successful project labor management.

  • Advise and assist contractor to prepare for required union workforce.

  • Recruitment services.

  • Bridge the labor management gap.

  • Proactive planning or interventions to avoid or resolve jurisdictional disputes.

  • Consultation and interventions to address union grievance.

  • Interface with local unions as needed to address drug test failures.
